inside. It’s getting cold out here and I’m fucked up.”

“Hello” A groggy Tyrin said into the phone receiver.
“Man, what’s up? What happened on yesterday? Are you alright?”
“Craig?” He asked, trying to get his thoughts together.
“Yeah fool. What’s going on? You stormed out of here yesterday without saying anything to anybody. What type of meeting did you and old boy have?”
“Let me call you back.” Tyrin hung up the phone, squint his eyes at the sun that was staring him in the face. “What time is it?” he muttered as he rolled his body over to face the back of the couch. Craig’s’ phone call proved that yesterday was not a dream, and neither was the liquor induced headache.
Tyrin mustered up some strength and headed to the bathroom for the Tylenol bottle. As he popped three into his mouth he remembered that he had a major client meeting today. “How in the hell am I going to make it through this meeting. My head is fucking killing me.” Tosha sat in the corner looking at him with pity before walking over and rubbing her head against his calf. That was her way of saying, I feel your pain, but I have to go to the bathroom. Irritated, he let out a sigh and commenced to follow the normal regimen she was used to.

“Kim” Tyrin said into the intercom.
    “Yes sir?”
“I need a reservation at Boa for tomorrow night around seven thirty.”
    “For how many?” she asked
    “Just two, please.”
    “I’ll get right on it.”
    “Thanks.”
Tyrin sat fully clad in one of his many black Armani suits waiting on his client to arrive. His headache had subsided a little, and after the meeting he planned on going to Rodeo Dr. to pick up the Cartier watch Khalil had been eyeing for about two months. It was going to serve a dual purpose; a welcome home, honey we have a son, gift. The two of them hadn’t spoken since Khalil arrived in Frisco and his one-man party last night caused him to miss the second phone call. He did however retrieve the message that was left and it did his heart good to know that Khalil was thinking of him.
He and Darion made an appointment for him to see a specialist on next Thursday to get the ball rolling. One thing Tyrin hated was the fact that Caleb was back in Philadelphia with Darion’s wife and two children. Caleb was sick and in need of special care so it was crucial for him to stay close to his doctors. The only reason he was flying to California was because one of the best transplant surgeons was housed in Los Angeles.
Darrion refused to risk such an important surgery on just any doctor and demanded the best. Tyrin swore to himself that once this was all over he would make sure that he and Caleb formed some type of relationship. He had no intentions of taking him from his uncle that loved him dearly, but he did however want to be a part of his life.
If all goes according to plan, the kidney would be a match, the surgery a success, and Tyrin would take Caleb on a tour of Southern California. Disneyland, Sea World, San Diego Zoo and whatever else he wanted to do and see. Tyrin smiled to himself at the thought of the three of them bonding and making memories. “What the fuck are you smiling about?” Craig asked as he stood in the doorway of the office. “What the hell happened to you yesterday?” he continued as he walked into the office and closed the door behind him. “Who was that fool you were in here with before you made a mad dash out? Everybody was all worried, your cell phone was off and you didn’t answer at home either. What the fuck is going on?”
“Calm down C, you’re acting like we’re fucking or something.” He said trying to make light of yesterday’s events.
“Who was dude?” he adamantly asked again.
    “What?”
“Homie that was in here yesterday?” He looked at Tyrin with an eyebrow raised and began to look around the office like he was trying to make sure no one else was in there. “You ain’t fucking around
