stopped talking and cleared my head. I waited for our mouths to connect. My eyes drifted to his lips, then back to his eyes. He was waiting for me, letting me get used to the idea of our lips melding. Despite my reservations about lighting this fire, I wanted to kiss him. I wanted that first kiss with him. I believed first kisses were everything. An undeniable clashing of two souls caught in a wave of passion. A tsunami that overtakes the heart and ignites the body. It is a timeless moment in the throes of love.
Closing my eyes, I leaned in and softly pressed my lips to his. Immediately, I felt something I’d never experienced. My heart raced, tingles raced through my veins, and stars exploded behind my eyes. We hadn’t even moved from just our lips meeting, and I wanted to grip him hard, run my hands through his hair, then throw him on the couch and have my naughty way with him. But, I also wanted this moment to last. I knew my head would catch up soon and scream at me to end this.
I pulled back slightly, only to connect us again. This time we moved against each other’s mouths. Teasing. His teeth gently nipped at my lower lip. Wanting to explore more, I opened for him and our tongues danced in sync. His hands gently cupped the back of my head, keeping me close. My hands clenched his shirt, wanting the exact thing. To be close, to never let this moment end. But it did.
Binksie chose that moment to rub up against us annoyingly. I pulled back and came to a decision.
“All right, kitten. You win. I’m yours for the week. I’ll try not to over think things, although I won’t make any promises.” I took a step out of his arms and looked him in those pretty blue eyes. I was a nut for making this deal in the first place, so I guess I was going full loon and embracing the dark side.
    “One week,” he huffed.
“You might want to relax for the rest of the night. Busy day tomorrow.” He set the remote down on the couch and walked off into the kitchen. I sagged onto the cushions as Binksie rubbed up against my legs. Little pussy blocker.
He walked back into the room a few minutes later looking cool as a cucumber, unlike me. My head was all over the place.
“Naughty little animal, aren’t you?” He was looking at me with an amused face. I looked at him with confusion. You could tell he was holding back his laughter. What the hell? He nodded his head towards the TV. I just realized I hadn’t even looked to see what was on. Oh boy.
Monkeys were getting it on. Animal Mating Rituals on the animal channel was on full blast. Cue red cheeks.
“Well, if I’m going to be playing with you, kitten, I gotta learn all the animal tricks.” Yeah, I was trying to play it off. He laughed and sat on the cushion next to me.
“Not sure I like the nickname you keep playing at.” He didn’t move to change the channel. Should I? But then I’d have to cross his body to grab the remote. This couch was sort of large. I bet he could sleep on it pretty comfortably, and he was no small man.
“Name stays. Are you going to change this or are we going to continue to watch animals get it on?” I whined. He looked at me and that smirk rose onto his face.
“You want to change it, there’s the remote.” He pointed to his right, where the remote was nestled in the corner of the couch, against the armrest. It was probably only four feet away. I could easily get up and get it, but call me a pyro, because I was totally in for playing with this fire. I looked at him and rose onto my knees. Like the kitty cat I was trying to be, I crawled across him, ass in the air. I pressed my face into the couch, successfully placing my ass right in his face, and grabbed the remote.
“EEP!” I shrieked.  He bit my ass!
“I told you, sweetheart, all animals can bite,”  he said to my backside. I knocked his face with my bottom and climbed back to my side.
“Savage,” I murmured, and changed the channel. But even as I settled back in the couch,
