to even discuss this anymore.”
We sat silently on the phone for several minutes.
    â€œNokea?”
    â€œWhat is it, Jaylin?”
â€œI love you. I know that you may not understand my actions, but just know that my actions were because of my love for you. I can’t come home yet, because I have to be in court on Monday. If the judge doesn’t consider me a flight risk, which I’m sure he probably won’t, I’ll be back home right after court is over. In the meantime, I was hoping that you’d catch a flight out of Miami tomorrow and—”
â€œI have to see about our children, Jaylin. You got yourself into this mess, and it’s only fair that you do whatever you have to do to get yourself out.”
â€œCan’t you ask Nanny B to watch them for a few days? I’m positive that she won’t mind.”
â€œI will do no such thing. I’ll just see you whenever you get back.”
There was silence again. I stared at the ceiling and then closed my eyes. I was hurt because Nokea had rarely spoken to me in such a cold manner. I knew she was still upset about the CD and losing the baby, so I tried my best not to say the wrong thing to her.
â€œIt would be nice to hold you in my arms, but I understand how you feel. However, our marriage vows said for better or worse. We’re having a little down time right now, but I know things will get better. Right now, a li’l ‘I love you, too, Jaylin’ would mean everything in the world to me, and I need some hope. Again ... I love you, Nokea. Always have and always will.”
Again, there was silence. I wasn’t saying nothing else until she spoke up. Soon after, she did. “I love you, too, Jaylin. But this time, you have to work this out on your own.”
â€œWill do,” I said, listening to the dial tone.
I sat up and placed the cordless phone on the table. I knew that I had my work cut out for me, and the faster I got myself out of this mess, the better. I couldn’t wait until later so I could talk to Frick about my case. Hopefully, he’d have good news for me.
Ready to shut it down again, I reached over to the lamp and turned it off. I picked up the glass of Rémy from the table and held it in my hand. Needing a comfortable bed to lie in, I made my way down the hallway to the guest room. As I neared Shane’s bedroom, I heard soft moans coming from inside. The door was slightly cracked, and I knew Scorpio’s moans like the back of my hand. She sounded overly excited, and just for the hell of it, I stood outside the door and listened.
For a while, I didn’t hear anything from Shane. And since my curiosity got the best of me, I slowly moved my head, peeking through the cracked door. I took a few more sips from my glass, and even though the room was dimly lit, I caught a glimpse of Scorpio as she lay naked on her back. Her head was damn near hanging off the bed, and her thighs were resting high on Shane’s shoulders. His face was buried between her legs, and by the sounds she made, it was obvious that he was sucking her correctly. Her eyes were closed, and she bit down on her bottom lip.
â€œOhh, babyyyy,” she moaned while holding his head in place. I could hear the slurps and watched as he not only worked her pussy with his tongue but massaged her breasts at the same time. “Shaaaaane, I ... I’m coming, baby! I’m about to cummmm again!”
Scorpio’s eyes popped wide open, and I’ll be damned if they didn’t connect with mine. After having an orgasm, she stared directly at me for a few seconds. Shane lifted his head, and she rolled on top of him. Before going down on him, she made eye contact with me, closed her eyes, and then placed his dick into her mouth. No doubt, she worked him well. I watched her take him to the back of her throat and listened to him give his approval. When she opened her eyes, they looked in my direction again.
