than her name, not even where she lived.
Lying still, she tried to picture her parents, or anyone from her past. Nothing. Only the aches in her body registered, and she remembered the way they had made love to her. If this was her life now could she be happy without knowing her past?
There were probably people out there looking for her. She did not know if it would be fair to them to stay hidden away here.
Even if she were found, she would keep their secret. Bears. Who would have guessed they existed? Maggie went over that part of the day, checking it had been real and not part of her mind's games. Oh, were they real. Her sex ached with the reality of their lovemaking. This set off a chain reaction, and she got up, wanting to find them and experience a bit more bear love.
They were turning her into a nymphomaniac. “And I don’t care,” she said aloud.
    ***
“We're going to have to tell her.”
She could hear them talking again as she went down the stairs. This time she chose not to eavesdrop. If she was going to live here with them, for any length of time, they had to be honest with each other.
“Tell me what?” she asked, going down the last couple of stairs quickly.
The two men looked at each other, and Cyrus nodded slightly to Aiden.
“Cyrus went back to where we found you.”
    “And found something?”
“There were tracks. I followed them. One set were yours, you were running, and there was one other set. Bigger, a man’s shoe. Not the kind used for hiking, which seemed out of place. So I kept going. They led down to the road.”
    “Show her,” Aiden said.
Maggie’s heart raced a little faster, whatever Cyrus had found he was reluctant to share with her. He turned around and picked something up off the table. It was a purse.
“Is it mine?” she asked, not recognising it at all.
“There is some ID in there. I think it must be.”
She grabbed it quickly, spilling its contents on to the table. Most of it was useless, receipts, make up and the general paraphernalia a woman carried around with her. It was her wallet that held the clues to who she was.
Her hands were trembling slightly as she picked it up. She glanced up at Aiden and then Cyrus, and their expressions did not help. It would be easy to throw it away, and live out her life here with these two special men. Only the thought of someone out there looking for her made her tighten her resolve. Surely, she had parents, a family who were looking for her. She had to sort this out, and then make a decision based on all the facts.
Flipping it open, she saw her photo ID first. There she was, Maggie Strachan. She peered closer at the picture, and noted the address. Still nothing, exasperated she flipped through the rest of its contents. Credit cards, some money, all still in its place. Obviously whoever was with her had not been a thief, overall there seemed little here to help her. Apart from simply going home to the address on her ID. However, that frightened her; so much was uncertain and unknown.
“What am I supposed to do?” she asked.
“You're a good hundred miles from home,” Aiden said.
“That’s quite a way. So I was either going somewhere or coming back from somewhere.”
“Perhaps. But that does not help. It could be anywhere.”
“I don’t suppose you have access to a car at all?” Maggie asked.
    They both shook their heads.
“Is there a phone number in any of that?” Aiden asked, pointing to the pile of other stuff on the table.
Maggie picked her way through the contents, meticulously checking for anything that might lead her to someone she knew personally. There was one number, scribbled on the back of a piece of paper.
“It could be anyone,” she said.
“There’s a call box at the store about five miles away. Why don’t we walk there tomorrow? Call the number, see who answers,” Aiden said, although by his tone she knew he was only being practical.
“Why? Can’t we just leave it until her memory comes
