still, waiting for her to move back against him in desperate need. She finally did and she was rewarded with another slow stroke inside of her. He drove her mad with his lips and hips, his cock’s slow moving need pushed her to a new level of pleasure. The build-up was slow and when they both released together, Tasha almost fell back asleep against him.

There was a knock on the door and then Demitri was up and getting dressed, leaving her naked and cold in the bed. “I have work, Tasha, and you have to go home to your son.” His words reminded her and she too was pulling on her clothes with rubber appendages. Her eyes followed his as his tight body was taken away from her. She wanted to pout, her lips starting to.

Demitri smiled and went to her, his hands cupping her face, his lips insistent of his words. She wanted to stay, but he was right. It was time to go back to reality and she missed her son, having not stayed many nights away from him.

“Tasha. There was one thing I forgot to give you last night.” She turned around and stared at the crab dangling in his hand. She reached for it and checked the back for the engraving. She half thought he had found her one like it, but it read the same inscription as it always did. “Always loved.”

Tears welled up in her eyes and she fought back the urge to shed them, her eyes blinking them away. Her arms went around his neck and she hugged him hard. Finally she pulled away and kissed him with tear-stained lips. “Thank you, Demitri. How did you…?”

    “Anything for you, Tasha. Anything.”

    ***

“My, my, my. Look at you!”

Tasha blushed as she walked in the door. Maya was making breakfast and Jonell was sitting in his booster seat, waiting. His little chubby hands came out, reaching for her. Tasha picked him up and held him close to convince herself that he had not grown up in the eighteen hours that she was gone. Even still her motherly instinct couldn't help but make her feel a little guilty, no matter how great of a sitter she knew Maya was.

“Thanks for watching him, Maya. Did you guys have fun?”

She directed her question to her son and his brown eyes smiled up at her. He shook his head and told her about their night in halting sentences. Tasha just laughed and felt renewed. Something had happened last night on Demetri’s boat and she was sure it was love. The feeling was suffocating and beautiful, yet it scared her. What if he didn’t feel the same way? Her hands went to her neck, feeling the tiny crab in her hands. It wasn’t worth much as far as monetary concerns, but he had given her back the most precious gift that she could have thought of.

“Oh my God, did the police find it?” Maya noticed her necklace in her hands.

“No, Demitri did. Isn’t that crazy? I don’t know how he did it, but he brought it back to me because he said he knew how much it meant to me.”

Maya stared for a moment, secretly wishing that her boyfriend would do something even remotely sweet for her. None of the boyfriends she had ever had cared that much. The look on Tasha’s face planted a seed of awareness and Maya started to wonder if she needed to change the way she looked at dating.

“He sounds perfect, so when do we meet him?”

Tasha shook her head. She didn’t know if she was ready for that. She still didn’t know enough about him for him to meet Jonell. She had to make sure that he would never leave her first. She couldn’t take all of that again, and not matter how young Jonell was didn't want to put him through something like that. Tasha had to make sure it was real for him too. She was smitten, but that didn’t mean that he was. She had to keep reminding herself that it had only been two dates and one incredible night.

Chapter 10
“Tasha? What did you say Demitri’s last name was?”

“Ostvolv or something like that, why?”

Alice shook her blonde head and slid a
