went to sleep. He didn’t want to talk to him right now. He didn’t know if he could keep from saying something else that would make him feel like a fool.
Keeley held his breath, waiting, as he felt the bed dip with Reece’s weight as he climbed in. But Reece just pulled the covers up and rolled over to go to sleep. Keeley didn’t know what hurt worse, feeling like a fool or being ignored?
He let his breath out slowly as he heard Reece’s soft snore. He rolled over onto his side to look at Reece. He was sleeping on his back, one arm across his stomach, the other over his head. And he was the sexiest thing Keeley had ever seen.
It was just his luck to be falling in love with a guy that didn’t even want his love, just his body. Although, he would have preferred that Keeley be a woman. As Keeley closed his eyes, he wondered how long he could last before he really did fall in love with Reece, then had his heart broken? Because he knew it was coming.
Chapter 4
Keeley opened his eyes to see the empty bed beside him. He could see the imprint of Reece’s head in the pillow, but the sheets themselves were cold. He imagined Reece had fled the moment his eyes opened up to avoid him.
As he rolled to the side of the bed, he wondered if his life could get any more disappointing. First, he had been kidnapped and held prisoner by a madman bent on using him for his own greed. Then he had been kidnapped by the man of his dreams to be used for his own personal needs. Maybe he just needed to stay away from men.
Now that was a depressing thought , Keeley smirked to himself as he got up and went into the bathroom. He pulled the shirt over his head and dropped it on the counter before stepping into the shower and turning on the water.
He made quick work of soaping himself up and washing his hair before rinsing off and getting out. Grabbing a towel off the shelf, he dried off, then looked around for something to wear. He really didn’t want to put his dirty shirt back on.
Wrapping the towel around his waist he walked back into the bedroom and eyed Reece’s dresser. Would he mind Keeley using another one of his shirts? Was that too personal? Would he be invading Reece’s space if he got into his dresser?
Deciding that it was a better choice to stay clear of Reece’s stuff, Keeley walked over to look out the window. He didn’t know how territorial werewolves might be. For all he knew, Reece could mark his territory by peeing all over the place.
That thought reminded Keeley of how little he actually knew about Reece or what he wanted from him. He didn’t even know if he was allowed to leave the room. But, if he had to be confined to one room, this was better than the room he had with the Teacher, bigger too.
Keeley guessed it wouldn’t be so bad. He had a bathroom, a nice view from the windows, and a nice, large bed to sleep in. He assumed that Reece would come to visit him, even if it was just to sleep in the bed at night. This was his room after all.
And then there would be those occasions when Reece decided to share himself with Keeley. Those would be the times he fantasized about when he was alone, pretending that Reece really wanted him and not just any mate.
Resigned, Keeley went back into the bathroom and pulled the shirt back on. He had to wear something. With nothing else to do, Keeley went about straightening up the room. He made the bed and cleaned up the bathroom.
He was once again standing by the window looking outside when the bedroom door opened and Reece walked in.
“Oh good, you’re awake,” Reece said as he looked over and saw Keeley standing next to the window. “Are you hungry? Devlin made something to eat.”
“I could eat,” Keeley replied.
“Well then, come on. Food’s waiting,” Reece said, turning on his heels and heading out the door.
Keeley stared at the open doorway for a brief moment before following Reece out and down the stairs. As they walked into the
