"Emily, you should really go now or I'll kidnap you for my pleasure. I'm very close to driving away with you still in my car."
I kissed his dimpled cheek, adjusted myself, and left his car as quickly as I could. I didn't look back, and didn't really believe what had just happened. Sara was going to flip when I told her that Mr. Not Happening just became Mr. Happening for sure.
Once I got inside, I ran upstairs and dialed Sara breathlessly.
" Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car by Billy Ocean."
    "Bitch, shut up!"
"I hope this is really happening to me and not one of my dreams. Sara, if I wake up tomorrow and this didn't happen I'm just going to find him and rape him."
"Emily Marcus you fucking slut. Is your hymen still with you?"
"Sara, for shame! I didn't sleep with him. We just made out a little in his car."
My friend couldn't stop laughing on the other end of the line.
"Emily, you forgot to add … yet."

Chapter 6
    Good morning, beautiful...

I couldn't sleep all night. I kept rewinding and replaying every word, every touch, every expression and laughing out loud like a psycho. Emily, you did it! You had a fantasy that was slowly proving to be even better in real life . I guessed that was what it felt like when people fulfill their desires. I was elated and euphoric about being with Louis Bruel only a few hours ago.
Lying in bed recapping our tryst, I dismally realized that Louis never mentioned a specific time when he would come to pick me up for breakfast. He never even asked me for my phone number. I pessimistically concluded that he most likely wouldn't show up at all. I really was a stupid little girl.
I couldn't sleep that night, and when the sun finally emerged I got out of bed. I looked outside my window at six thirty in the morning to find a very familiar, exotic red sports car parked right across the street by the curb. I danced a victory dance. I couldn't believe he was there waiting for me. Did he not leave last night? I quickly ran to shower and make myself as presentable as I could for someone who stayed up and worried all night. I had a blush that just refused to disappear. He was here; he was really here. I left a note telling my parents that I had plans with Sara for the day and promised to call them later. I was hoping breakfast with Louis Bruel would turn into lunch and maybe dinner.
I walked outside thirty minutes later in a white, cotton lace-trimmed dress. My dress was short in the front and long in the back, all the way to the floor, very bohemian chic. I wore my nude wedged espadrilles that laced up my leg and reminded me of my ballerina days. I didn't have time to do anything with my damp wavy hair, so I just left it cascading down messily.
Louis was leaning back against his car, which was parked across from my house. He was wearing a tight V-neck t-shirt that left no muscle to the imagination, and washed out low-waisted blue jeans that hung off his hips enticingly. I made my way down to his black flip-flops. I never would've guessed a man's feet would be a turn-on for me. But clearly anything involving Louis Bruel was becoming a turn-on for me. He was smiling at me with his arms folded across his chest, displaying his incredibly big bulging upper arms. He removed his aviators as soon as I approached and gave me a look that made my heart, among other things, clench.
    "Beautiful…" was all he said.
I smiled back and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek just in case one of my neighbors was watching us and decided to report back to my parents. I quickly got into the passenger seat and couldn't wait for him to drive us away.
    *****
"Look around you; this area may look dirty and industrial but in the next ten years, if my gut instinct is right, this all around us will be the hottest piece of real estate in New York. The land here is on fire," Louis explained to me before parking us by an industrial looking dock.
What he said about the neighborhood we were in was hard to
