Dark Angels MC: Chasing Love

Lily Winters gripped the steering wheel of her old Toyota Camry hatchback and tried to calm her labored, panicked breathing. She was attempting to drive through the town of Amber and make it into the next city in order to get to her sister’s house and get to safety. But the way that her car was sputtering and stalling, it did not appear as if she was going to make it. She had driven the broken down vehicle from New York all the way out west, and was actually surprised that she had even made it that far. But of course now that she was almost at her destination, the car was beginning to die.

Lily’s eyes darted out of each of her windows as darkness began to settle on the deserted streets. She pulled out her cell phone in hopes that her battery had not died just yet. The phone was at two percent, so it was well on its way to fading to black. She didn’t know who she could call anyway, because her sister did not have a car of her own to come and pick her up in, let alone any money that she could lend to her. The last thing that she wanted to do was contact the authorities and let them know that she was in distress in an attempt to get some vehicular assistance. That would only alert them to her whereabouts, and then it would only be a matter of time before word got back to the authorities in New York.

The engine on Lily’s car let out one last long, wheezing cough before it completely died. She had managed to pull over onto the side of the road beforehand, and now she wiped her damp brow and fought back tears as she grabbed her purse and stepped out of the car. Lily pulled her tiny denim shorts down a bit over her long, slender legs, and adjusted her voluptuous breasts, which were practically spilling out of her thin, tight white tank top. She threw her long, thick, auburn hair back off of her face and stared down the road, hoping that someone would come along soon to provide her with some assistance. Lily prayed that nothing was seriously wrong with her car, because she was desperate to get to the city and get out of dodge. She only had so much money to spare considering she had left New York so abruptly, and she had the aching feeling that trouble was hot on her trail. So the sooner she got back on schedule, the better.

As she stared down the road, Lily saw two bright headlights coming her way. She walked toward the back of her car so that she could better see the approaching vehicle. As it got closer, Lily breathed a deep sigh of relief once she realized that it was actually a tow truck creeping along slowly. She hoped that the truck was slowing down because the driver saw her and was willing to stop and help her with her car. When the truck pulled up behind her and stopped, Lily put her hand up to her chest and thanked her lucky stars that help had arrived so quickly. She walked around to the driver’s side of the truck and read the name of the company that had been painted on in a blast of red flames along the door.

“The Dark Angels, Coming To Your Rescue,” it read. Lily certainly agreed with that as she approached the door and waited for the driver to get out of the truck. When he did, Lily almost gasped at how ruggedly handsome the man was. He was well over six feet tall, with dark, wildly curly hair and beautiful sun kissed skin. His brooding hazel eyes appeared as if they had seen their fair share of danger and pain, but they danced as they eyed Lily up and down. The man’s broad, bulging chest and shoulders and muscular arms and abs could clearly be seen through his tight gray tee shirt, and his tight jeans revealed quite a well-endowed package behind the zipper.

“Good evening, ma’am,” the man said politely. “You have some trouble with your car?”

“Ye…Yes, I…I am,” Lily stammered, struggling to maintain her composure. The man’s deep voice and overwhelming presence had quite an effect on her, and she was having trouble
